Skinboosters and skin hydration in Montpellier

Improve hydration and fine lines with small injections of hyaluronic acid for skin quality.

The times below are general estimates. The length of your appointment and your recovery instructions depend on the treatment area and the protocol selected.

What does the treatment involve?

A skinbooster uses a gel suitable for the skin rather than creating volume. Placed by micro-injections or on the cannula depending on the product, it aims at a more supple and less frizzy skin.

Who is this treatment for?

Adult skins dehydrated, dull or marked by fine lines, young and mature. It is not intended to treat an acne thrust or remove excess skin. Very fine areas subject to oedema require careful selection.

How's the session going?

  1. The area and skin dryness are examined. The doctor chooses the gel and deposit technique.
  2. The skin is cleaned and disinfected; anaesthesia can be proposed according to your sensitivity.
  3. The freeze is distributed in the selected areas. The protocol may consist of 2-3 sessions spaced a few weeks, depending on the reference used.

How long do you expect?

About 20 to 30 minutes for treatment, with extra time if an anesthetic cream is laid.

Is it painful?

Pike, tingling or pressure under the skin. The cannula limits the number of entry points but does not make the procedure insensitive.

What is recovery like, and is there any downtime?

Usually resumes quickly. Redness, small bumps and blue are possible; some marks remain visible for several days.

When will I see results?

Moisture and flexibility are gradually appreciated after 2 to 4 weeks and over the course of the protocol, once the initial sequels have passed.

How long do the effects last?

Often several months. For some protocols, an interview is discussed around 6 to 9 months; the chosen freeze determines the schedule.

Before and after your appointment

Avoid manipulating small bumps. Keep a smooth routine and sun protection. Wait for instructions before scrub or irritating treatment.

Precautions to be considered

Report inflammatory acne, infection, pregnancy and breastfeeding. Injections can lead to oedema, nodules or infection; a blue is possible even at the cannula.
