The lips are, with the look, the two moving zones of the face: appreciated both in static and dynamic, they concentrate much of the charm and identity, and constitute one of the first visible vectors of age.
With time, the lips become dehydrate, refine and lose consistency and their definition. Vertical lines appear on the contour: the Solar pleated (also called "bar code" or "smoker wrinkles"), which gradually invades the entire upper lip.
This process is accelerated by repeated muscle contractions of the mouth, smoking and repeated solar exposures. Result: an older mouth, drier, less smiling, even though the rest of the face remains preserved.
Hyaluronic acid acts at two levels
Surface: improving the quality of peribuccal skin, blurring fine lines around the mouth, restoring a smoother and hydrated texture.
In depth: increase in the volume of the red lip when injected into the heart of the lip, restitution of the gall and definition (arc de Cupidon, hem, body of the lip).

HA is poorly aged in this area and frequently causes unsightly fibrosis in the hem. Dr. Cayatte uses the TIMED or electrochemical peeling, more suitable and more durable for this type of wrinkles.
What happens during the appointment?
Comfort Anesthesia
EMLA cream is applied at least 20 minutes before injection. The products used contain lidocaine to maximize comfort. The session is painless for the vast majority of patients.
Definition of objective

Injection and massage

Immediate follow-up
Lips can be slightly swollen for at least 24 hours, up to 72 hours. In case of feelings of distension, apply ice wrapped in a tissue to soothe and reduce edema. No interruption of the usual activities: you resume your activities normally as soon as you leave the practice.
Control to J+15 included
