MD Codes and facial assessment in Montpellier
A method of identifying injection points to organize a facial treatment as a whole.
The times below are general estimates. The length of your appointment and your recovery instructions depend on the treatment area and the protocol selected.
What does the treatment involve?
The MD Codes are a map of anatomical points. They help to plan injections of hyaluronic acid according to the volumes and supports of the face. It is neither an additional product nor an identical protocol for everyone.
Who is this treatment for?
Adults with several areas to rebalance: loss of cheek volume, chin support or associated hollows. On mature skin, the proportion of skin skin laxity is evaluated before adding volume.
How's the session going?
- You indicate what is bothering you in the face: tiredness, hollowness or loss of support. The doctor examines the relationships between the zones.
- A plan chooses the really useful points, gels and number of syringes. It can be done in stages.
- The injections are made after disinfection, then their overall effect is checked. Follow-up allows you to adjust the plan.
How long do you expect?
Often 30 to 60 minutes for treatment of several regions; the plan may include several appointments.
Is it painful?
Pikures and pressure, vary according to the points. Adapted anesthesia and lidocaine-containing gels can improve comfort.
What is recovery like, and is there any downtime?
Follow-up comparable to other injections: swelling and bruising possible for several days, sometimes up to 2 weeks.
When will I see results?
Volume intake is immediate. The overall result is evaluated after stabilization, usually after 2 to 4 weeks or after the last step.
How long do the effects last?
The duration is that of the gels used, often around a year for deep volumes. A mapping does not change the resorption speed of the product.
Before and after your appointment
Keep the plan and references of the products. During the check, the doctor checks the remaining volumes before proposing new injections.
Precautions to be considered
The risks are those of areas injected: blue, oedema, nodules and rare vascular complications. The accuracy of the tracking does not exempt anatomical precautions.
