Plasma Lift and Plexr in Montpellier

Treat a small area of loose skin or some irregularities with plasma points.

The times below are general estimates. The length of your appointment and your recovery instructions depend on the treatment area and the protocol selected.

What does the treatment involve?

Plexr produces a plasma arc in the vicinity of the skin. It creates small superficial treatment points that form crusts and then heal. It's not blood plasma or PRP.

Who is this treatment for?

Adults with localized skin indication and limited skin laxity. Mature skin may be affected if excess skin remains moderate. Dark or stain-prone skins require special care; not all are suitable.

How's the session going?

  1. The doctor examines the area, your phototype and your history of healing. Any lesions should be identified prior to treatment.
  2. A local surface anesthesia is prepared. The device then realizes the plasma points on the delimited area.
  3. Care and follow-up are explained; a new session is envisaged only after healing and evaluation of the result.

How long do you expect?

The procedure depends on the surface, often about 20 to 40 minutes. The installation of an anesthetic cream before the session lengthens the time on site.

Is it painful?

Heat and tingling despite possible anesthesia. A burning or pulling sensation may persist at the beginning of recovery.

What is recovery like, and is there any downtime?

Plan about 5 to 7 days of visible crusts, sometimes more. Swelling, then pink skin may persist beyond; recovery depends on the region.

When will I see results?

The change begins to appreciate after the crusts disappear. The assessment continues over 1 to 3 months during healing.

How long do the effects last?

Treated skin continues to age. The maintenance and possible need for another session depends on the area and the extent of skin laxity; a fixed duration is not established for all indications.

Before and after your appointment

Don't scratch the crusts. Follow the cleaning and care instructions and do not make up until authorized by the practice. Solar protection is essential during healing.

Precautions to be considered

Brown or light spots, infection and scarring are possible. A pain that increases, a discharge or a redness that spreads justifies contacting the practice.
