What is the Rigenera mesograft?

Mesograft Rigenera is a non-surgical technique that extracts multipotent mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) from scalp micrografts collected under local anaesthesia (some mm2, painless). These cells, rich in growth factors, are injected directly into the scalp to revitalize defective hair follicles.

Certified device EC class I — no chemical manipulation or cultivation. The patient's cells are used the same day, without transformation. This technology is particularly suitable for advanced androgenetic alopecia resistant to other treatments.

Rigenera technology: What is it?

Rigenera technology represents a major breakthrough in cell regeneration. This revolutionary system makes it possible to extract and treat stem cells from scalp micrografts, thus opening the door to revolutionary medical and aesthetic applications.

Micrografts with Rigenera exploit the multipotent mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), which play a crucial role in hair regeneration. These cells secrete growth factors and anti-inflammatory, favoring natural hair regrowth.

Rigenera technology offers an innovative and safe approach to treating hair loss, when the alopecia is advanced and of androgenetic origin. Using the patient's own cells, it minimizes the risk of side effects and ensures natural and lasting results.

Clinical benefits

What mesograft does compared to other hair treatments

  • Autologous stem cells: from the patient himself — no risk of allergy, rejection or side effect related to an exogenous product.
  • Non-surgical: Unlike the FUE/FUT transplant, no incisions or scars. Day protocol, immediate return to activities.
  • Improvement of Regrowth: Mesenchymatous MSCs secrete growth factors that revive the still viable hair follicles.
  • Hair quality: improvement in hair size, keratin and hydration of the hair follicle — not just number.
  • Anti-inflammatory effect: stem cells reduce local inflammation of the scalp, often present in androgenetic alopecia.
  • Regenerative factors: antioxidant protection, vascular stimulation and healing — an environment conducive to regrowth.

Mesograft vs surgical transplant

The surgical transplant (FUE/FUT) reimplants follicles — it is indicated for advanced calvities ( Norwood stage 5-7) where follicles are completely inactive. Mesograft revitalizes the still viable follicles. Both approaches are complementary: mesograft may precede or follow a transplant to maximize overall density.

Conduct

The treatment process Rigenera

From sampling to injection — a 45 to 60 minute session in the practice, under local anaesthesia.

1

Sampling under local anaesthesia

A simple nanocut of a few scalp micrografts is performed under local anesthesia, guaranteeing a fast and comfortable process.

2

Stem cell extraction

The Rigenera technique uses the patient's stem cells extracted through this innovative system. The multipotent mesenchymal stem cells are thus isolated on the same day, without chemical manipulation or cultivation.

3

Injection into the scalp

The cell cocktail enriched with growth factors and anti-inflammatory is injected directly into the areas concerned to revitalize defective hair follicles and promote natural hair regrowth.

4

Progressive results over 3 to 6 months

The results are gradually observed over 3 to 6 months. A protocol of 4 to 6 sessions spaced from 3 to 4 weeks is recommended, followed by a semi-annual interview to maintain the benefits over time.

Your questions

Frequently Asked Questions about Hair Mesograft

The surgical transplant (FUE, FUT) consists of collecting follicles from a donor area and re-implanting them in bald areas. It's a surgical procedure. Mesograft is non-surgical: it injects a cocktail of stem cells and growth factors to revitalize existing follicles, without incision or scar.
Not in any case. Mesograft is effective for moderate alopecia where viable follicles are present. On advanced calvities (Norwood Stadiums 5-7), the surgical transplant remains the only solution to repopulate completely depopulated areas. Mesograft, on the other hand, can be done upstream or as a complement to maximize overall scalp density.
The standard protocol consists of 4 to 6 sessions spaced from 3 to 4 weeks. The results are progressive and can be observed over 3 to 6 months. A semi-annual interview is recommended to maintain results over time.
Some situations do not indicate mesograft: pregnancy and lactation, coagulation disorders, anticoagulant treatments, active scalp infections, allergy to cocktail components. One trichological consultation Dr. Marianne Cayatte makes it possible to evaluate these contraindications.
Yes, the mesograft + scalp PRP is synergistic. PRP brings autologous growth factors from your own plasma, which amplify the regenerating effect of mesograft. Dr. Marianne Cayatte can combine the two approaches within the same protocol according to your profile and the stage of alopecia.
